Cook made
first-class debut against Nottinghamshire at Chelmsford for Essex. Cook scored
69 runs in second innings. Alastair Cook scored his first first-class hundred
against Leicestershire on May 19, 2004 at Chelmsford. In 225 first class
matches Cook scored 17650 runs with average of 47.44.In 400 innings of first
class cricket Cook scored 50 hundred and 87 fifties.
Test Cricket
On March 1, 2006
Cook made his test debut vs India at Nagpur at age of 21. In first innings Cook
scored 60 runs .In second innings of test debut Cook scored 100 runs first
century in first test. Cook scored six hundred in 17 tests. From March 2008 to
February 2009 in 26 innings Cook could not score a single hundred. On January
18, 2010 Cook was named as captain of England Cricket Team vs Bangladesh. In
2011 in Ashes Alastair Cook scored 766 runs in Australia vs Australia. Cook
Scored three centuries in 7 innings. These 766 runs are second highest score in
Ashes by any English batsman after Wally Hammond 905 in 1928-29. Alastair Cook scored
9668 run in 216 innings of 121 Test. Alastair Cook scored 28 hundred and 45
fifties with average of 47.39 and SR of 46.49.In 28 hundred Cook scored two
double hundred and 7 times 150+. Cook played his 263 runs innings vs Pakistan
third longest innings in test cricket history after Haninf Muhammad and Gary
Kirsten. Cook faced 528 deliveries and stayed at crease for 836 minutes. According

Cook made his ODI debut
v.s Sri Lanka on June 28, 2006 at Old Trafford. In 92 ODI Cook scored 3204 run
with average of 36.4 and scored 5 hundred and 19 fifties. Cook highest runs in
Test cricket is 294 and in ODI is 137.
